PR BOGOR - Ajang penghargaan film Amerika, Academy Awards atau Piala Oscar 2023 mengumumkan daftar nominasi mereka tahun ini
Nominasi Piala Oscar 2023 didominasi oleh film keluarga bergenre sci-fi, Everything Everywhere All at Once, yang mendapatkan 11 nominasi dari 10 kategori, disusul The Banshees of Inisherin yang dapat 9 nominasi.
Beberapa kategori Piala Oscar 2023 sudah diumumkan dalam siaran televisi di Los Angeles, California pada Selasa (24/1/2023) waktu setempat.

Untuk pertama kalinya, kategori Best Picture diisi oleh film-film sekuel seperti Top Gun: Maverick dan Avatar: The Way of Water.
Evelyn Quan Wang menjadi aktris Asia kedua yang masuk nominasi Aktris Terbaik sepanjang sejarah Piala Oscar.
Adapun untuk kategori Aktris Pendukung Terbaik, ANgela Bassett masuk nominasi berkat aktingnya di Black Phanter: Wakanda Forever.
